Beginning of A New Decade

WOW, can you believe it is already 2020 and we are starting a new decade! A decade that I feel will be full of so many changes and amazing opportunities!

Let’s first start with an introduction! I know many of you reading this have followed my LEAP for the past three years (almost 4!) but for those of you that are new, HELLO! My name is Jillian, and I am 22 years old (lol that sounds too official for me!); a Ewing’s Sarcoma Cancer survivor; a fur momma to a sweet and WILD goldendoodle, Olive;  a member of the USA Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team; soon to be a college graduate with a degree in Professional Sales and so much more… I want to leave this part open because that is what I want this blog to be; a space for you all to get to know my passions for the LORD, Volleyball, Cancer, Amputation, Life and so much more.

I want to begin with Who I AM. I do start with being a cancer survivor, not to have cancer define me, but show you all a very HUGE part of my life. If it wasn’t for that part of my LEAP I do not feel any of the other things that follow would be possible. I also would like to invite you to read throughout my previous blog post and see that a huge part of my life. During those 11 months there were many ups and downs, LOTS and LOTS of scary times, many joyful moments, one BIG decision and lots of love, fellowship and guidance from our Lord!

I have a big goal with “Jillian’s Leap Through Cancer” to share life beyond cancer, and I am so excited for you to be along for the ride.

I pray that as you follow my blog you know that no matter what – you are not alone and you can do anything you set your mind to. I pray you are inspired to set goals and be the best version of yourself. Lastly, I pray that you know you are LOVED, CHOSEN, WORTHY, ACCEPTED, and an INSPIRATION to more than you know, all because you are HIS!
